Watt Stephens, Managing Partner
Watt Stephens, a fourth generation Fort Worth native, is the Managing Partner of OZ Capital. Prior to co-founding of OZC, Watt worked in Corporate Lending at Frost Bank, starting their credit training program and serving in various leadership roles throughout his tenure. Before leaving Frost, he served as a business development officer focused on private investment firms and family offices in Dallas/Fort Worth. Watt received an MBA from SMU's Cox School of Business in 2016 with an emphasis in both Finance and Strategy.
Jack Sibley, Partner
Jack Sibley oversees OZC's portfolio operations. As an executive, Jack has worked with management teams to implement creative, innovative solutions to complex business issues, identify growth verticals, and maximize stakeholder value. From 2017-2019 Jack served as Vice President at FundCorp, where he oversaw unit growth and supply chain distribution for two franchise systems totaling 150 units. Prior to that, Jack co-founded and served as President of Bamboo Juices, LLC. He received an MBA from The University of Georgia's Terry College of Business in 2014 with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. Jack graduated with a BA in International Affairs from The University of Georgia in 2007.
Charlie Stephens, Vice President of Business Development
Charlie Stephens joined OZ Capital in April 2019. As VP of Business Development, Charlie works to identify and secure new investment opportunities in OZ’s focus regions as well as supports existing portfolio operations. Previously, Charlie worked at PanXchange as Vice President of Commodity Market Development where he was responsible for successfully launching a pilot in U.S. feed ingredients and established the first physical commodity exchange for frac sand as well as the industry's first reference prices. Prior to that, Charlie managed pipe, truck, barge, and rail logistics at MarkWest Energy before moving on to the natural gas liquids desk, managing propane and butane logistics for the vessel export market. Charlie began his career at Gavilon Trade Group, where he traded the southeast cross-country corn and soybean markets and the New Orleans barge market. Charlie graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Finance.
